LES EXPERTS


10-12 years old 

Minimum prerequisites:
> Comprehension of spoken French.
> Ability to converse in French.
> Ability to read in French.
​> Ability to write in French.



At this level, students will work in various ways, independently, in pairs or in small groups on oral or written activities, developing their autonomy.
More advanced texts and works of youth literature will be studied and will sustain the vocabulary enrichment. More advanced grammar rules will be taught and the emphasis will be on more complex verb tenses.
Having acquired those skills, students will be encouraged to work on longer, more structured written expression and will practice writing their essays. Creativity in written expression will be strongly encouraged.
GOALS
  • Advancing and improving reading skills
  • Enrich knowledge of French youth literature
  • Practical use of the knowledge acquired through reading to improve written and oral expression
  • Vocabulary development
  • Analysis of the French language (grammar, spelling, conjugation, vocabulary)
  • Promote independent thinking and work.
