When I asked some of my students "Why do you write so well ?" "I do Saturday school Madame." was the response. That's how I found out about EFGS. I knew we had to get our kids into that program because we don't just want them to only be able to speak French, we want them to be able to read and write well. At first, they were less than thrilled about going to school on Saturdays but now they are very exited to go every weekend. " Deana “I would have liked to have discovered EFGS much earlier because my girls only spoke English. This made it difficult for them to be understood during our visits to family in France. After a few months with the program, they quickly ramped up and progressed in French. Last summer, they were finally able to have a conversation with my grandparents and moments like these are priceless. I did not regret this investment and enrolled them again this year. Moreover, the community is great, and both French-speaking and non-French-speaking parents can be involved in various volunteering opportunities.
