WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING
"We love the friendships and exposure to the French culture that our entire family has gained. It's a joy when my child shows pride in his ability to speak French. It seems like he wears his ability as a badge of honor that differentiates him and makes him a more accomplished person." - Alka "We love EFGS! This is our 4th year, and we have two children enrolled in the program. The teachers and staff are amazing. We highly recommend EFGS to families who are looking for both quality and affordability French education for their children!" - Katie and Rich “Having arrived to Seattle in September 2015, we found EFGS and the French community very welcoming. The girls loved coming to school on Saturday mornings and we were happy to volunteer from time to time to help in class. The teachers are very energetic and nice which makes it a pleasure to drive there every Saturday morning.” - Marie "We were one of the first families to enroll in the school six years ago when our son was five. We've grown with the program which we find has become very professional and thorough. In fact, our main goal was for our child to be able to speak and understand french. We feel his language abilities are beyond our expectations. He is able to communicate and understand french even though we use it sparingly in our home. He can read grade level french books. He has learned verb conjugation and grammar. The biggest gift is that he has expanded first hand cultural knowledge beyond what he learns in his American school. This foundation will stay with him his entire life and hopefully give him a love of language and travel that will endure into adulthood. When I asked some of my students "Why do you write so well ?" "I do Saturday school Madame." was the response. That's how I found out about EFGS. I knew we had to get our kids into that program because we don't just want them to only be able to speak French, we want them to be able to read and write well. At first, they were less than thrilled about going to school on Saturdays but now they are very exited to go every weekend. " Deana “I would have liked to have discovered EFGS much earlier because my girls only spoke English. This made it difficult for them to be understood during our visits to family in France. After a few months with the program, they quickly ramped up and progressed in French. Last summer, they were finally able to have a conversation with my grandparents and moments like these are priceless. I did not regret this investment and enrolled them again this year. Moreover, the community is great, and both French-speaking and non-French-speaking parents can be involved in various volunteering opportunities. The cherry on the cake is that the kids are loving it and are making French-speaking friends!” - Céline |
